Welcoming and lovely staff & overall lovely place to visit. Lots of goodies for breakfast. Great and beautiful location for my purposes. Plus, 20 minutes drive from William Wallace Statue. Restful experience there.

We had a memorable stay at Kirklands House, with one small comfort complaint. The heating in our room was never switched on, and it would have been nice to have a little warmth during the colder hours. However, the lovely traditional dining room with its communal table made up for it. The breakfast was delicious, featuring tasty local produce, although I missed having fresh fruit. The host went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, and the location was ideal, just a short taxi ride into town. I would highly recommend this charming bed and breakfast.
